Step Up & Take Your Workout Outside

The world is a beautiful place. I don't get out nearly enough to take in all its beauty. When I was in Washington a few weeks back I did a workout and photo shoot in some gorgeous places. The park in the featured photos below rose up overlooking the town and had a gorgeous sunset. It was great to get out and run in a new town, find new scenery and run new trials. These stairs were great for calf and glute work. They were a bit uneven, but that just made me work even harder and concentrate even more on each step that I took. Looking for a way to change up your workout? Consider driving at least 10 minutes away from your normal route or routine and find a new path or trail. Even running down a new street can liven up your workout and show you new areas you may never have seen before.
