Working out outside has it's advantages. The scenery is beautiful, you have fresh air, and you can virtually work out anywhere you choose! In Northern California, the sun is always out it seems, so protecting yourself is key to avoiding injuries and illnesses later on in life (cancer, eye problems, the list goes on).

I try to always have a pair of sunglasses with me when I am training outside. Sometimes it can be hard to find ones that have style and performance. I have one older pair that look great for casual wear, but the minute I move quickly or in any lateral direction for sport, they immediately fall down the bridge of my nose or off my face entirely. This can really mess with a good workout.

The test

I took these out on hikes, trail runs, road runs, and to the track. One of my clients gave me a compliment on the looks of the glasses. She thought I looked "like a serious athlete" when wearing them. What a great compliment! Best of all, these glasses did their job. They looked good, but they performed during a speed workout, which is the true test of performance sunglasses. Can they stand up to high speeds? The answer is a resounding yes. I can't wait to train in these during 2017!
