Headed to the Beach - Give this Sand Blaster Workout a Try
This past weekend my parents were visiting so we took a trip south to the coast. In California, basically the entire state is ablaze - so I needed to get away from the hazardous smoke outside. A trip to the Bay Area, just north of San Francisco, was a must. We visited the Point Reyes Lighthouse - the windiest lighthouse in the United States - and then headed down the peninsula to the beach. I got in some great sand sprints at South Beach and then we headed to Drakes Beach where we took a long stroll and chased the waves.
Visiting a beach near you anytime soon? Or have a giant sandbox at a playground near you? Try this workout for a beachy-good time! Sand adds resistance and makes even the simplest moves more difficult. You'll be sweating up a storm with these 6 basic drills.
