Looking for a fun race to run on October 30th? The Harvest Marathon or half marathon in Paso Robles, CA is one you won't want to miss. While this year I have to miss out due to another conflicting race the same weekend, I'm already looking forward to adding this race to my calendar in 2017. 5 Reasons to Run Paso Robles

Here are all the reasons why you should run the Harvest 5k, Half Marathon or 26.2.

Boston qualifier course. Are you feeling fast? Wanting to try for BQ? Then this race is perfect for helping you reach your goals. The course winds through the northeastern wineries of Paso Robles on a paved two-lane road the entire time, not closed to traffic, but many volunteers will be helping to control traffic. There are a few climbs on both the full and half and a 6 hour time limit for the marathon.

Post-race brunch. Yep, I am all about the food and any race that feeds me a delicious breakfast after running a 5k, 13.1 or 26.2 miles is a winner in my book. Top chefs will be preparing pancakes, french toast, eggs Benedict and a variety of drinks. There will also be live music during the brunch.
