Running + Basketball + Kids = Fun

I love basketball and running. When I heard there was a new Space Jam Virtual Run, I was so excited! I signed up right away. I also knew this would be a run (stroller ride) my almost 4-year old son would love.
The Race
The race itself is virtual, which if you have been reading my blog or following running the past almost two years, you know all about virtual races. I don’t mind virtual race, for me, with kids, they can be easier to accomplish but still give me something to train for.
For this race we headed out on a Sunday morning with all the snacks and well rested kids. We circled the neighborhoods around our houses and were on another bug hunt for Logan, like our last virtual run (though we didn’t find any).
While my pace is definitely slower when pushing both kids, it’s fun to show them the race bib, medal and have them participate. Larger races often don’t allow strollers, so that was a perk of this race.
The Finish
We finished in a little over 30 minutes and then got our Tune Squad selfies!! All in all this was a fun way to start a Sunday and a fun way to involve the whole family in a race. I definitely recommend this race to anyone!
