Say Goodbye to What-if, Focus on Now
The grass is always greener on the other side. Jobs, friends, housing and weather, it seems like everyone is always looking for something better. I definitely have been a victim of this way of thinking. I always think of the what-ifs. What if I had already gotten my dream job at Nike? What if I lived in LA and was able to personal train celebrities? What if this blog completely paid the bills? Where would any of these things take my career? The fact is, what-ifs don't do anything to make the now any better. Instead of focusing on what could have been or what could be in the future, we should focus on making now great.
Be More
Fitness is my now. I've always been drawn to fitness and inspiring others to become a better, stronger, fitter version of themselves. There are plenty of people where I already live that could be inspired and changed by what I can teach them now. I don't have to move anywhere else to inspire them. I have always believed that people can do more and be more. I know that everyone can work out hard and refuse to give up. I don't believe in quitting. And I know that if I, or anyone else, puts their mind to something, it will happen.
Say Goodbye to What-if
Since it appears that I will be living up here in Northern California away from Nike and the big city of Los Angeles, I have decided I am going to focus on being the best trainer, group fitness instructor, and blogger I can be at where I am today. I am going to keep my goals and keep working towards them, but I am also going to focus on the moment I am in right now.
I am going to be the best trainer I can be. I am going to push people to achieve their potential because they can and should.
Focus on the Now
I'd love for you to join me in this challenge to focus on the now and what you can do in this moment. Tomorrow will always be there and it's great to have goals and hopes for the future, but don't always live in what-ifs. Focus on tackling life head on, right now.
Instead of what-if, focus on saying I will.
